Tom Higgs is an award winning British Product Designer. He is a graduate from the Royal College of Art Design Products course led by Ron Arad.

 

Tom Higgs Design Studio creates products that are helpful, simple, intuitive, and ready to manufacture.

With a background in making, he approaches each design through purposeful material choices, resolving and refining for production, and assessing sustainability across the product lifecycle. 

​

His process plays with metaphor, appreciates context, and is guided by behaviour to shape objects that communicate instinctively and connect with people in meaningful ways.

​

Alongside his studio practice, Tom is a Lecturer of Design at Brunel University of London.

​

He has won The Design Plus Award, his work has been exhibited at Milan Furniture Fair, Frankfurt Ambiente, London Design Festival.
