Tom Higgs is an award winning British Product Designer.  He is a graduate from the Royal College of Art Design Products course led by Ron Arad.

 

Tom Higgs Design Studio is where ideas are shaped through a curiosity-driven process. Blending culture with technology to create products that are thoughtful and ready to manufacture.

 

His process considers the emotional weight of metaphor, the relevance of historical context, the behavioural lens of psychology, combined with a deep expertise in materials and manufacturing to create everyday objects, which are helpful, simple and intuitive, and connect with people in meaningful ways.

 

Alongside his studio practice Tom is a Product Design lecturer at Brunel University.

He has won The Design Plus Award, his work has been exhibited at Milan Furniture Fair, Frankfurt Ambiente, London Design Festival.
